St Andrews

Farleigh Wallop

St Andrews is in the middle of a field. During the English Civil War, Cromwells troops demolished the hamlet of Farleigh Wallop, the church being the only building left untouched. A new hamlet evolved about half a mile away, so the church is now isolated, but still used as a place of worship and, for some, burials.
